Human Circles

Group reflection and shared learning around one theme.

People gather around one defined theme and share their experiences or reflections one by one. Everyone is encouraged to listen respectfully and learn from the different voices in the circle.

No. Human Circles are based on lived experience, personal reflection and listening—not professional expertise.

The participation format will be stated for each circle. Some circles invite everyone to share, while others may also allow people to join mainly as listeners.

Each circle follows clear privacy and respect expectations. Recording or public sharing will take place only when it has been announced and the required permission has been given.

They may be online, in person or hybrid. The mode, date, duration and joining details will be clearly mentioned on the activity page.

Human Expressions

Creative forms for sharing feelings, experiences and perspectives.

You may express a feeling, experience, perspective or learning through an accepted creative form, such as writing, visual art, photography, audio, video, calligraphy or mixed media.

No. Human Expressions values honesty and meaning more than professional skill or artistic perfection.

This depends on the particular activity. Its detail page will show the accepted formats and whether one or multiple contributions are allowed.

Not necessarily. Each contribution is reviewed for eligibility, suitability, permissions and the activity’s selection requirements before any public display.

Yes. You retain ownership, while giving GHL only the permissions you approve for reviewing, presenting or sharing the contribution. The relevant consent choices will be explained before submission.

Human Conversations

Meaningful dialogue and personal exchange between two or more people.

Two or more people exchange lived experiences through a focused and meaningful dialogue. Unlike a group circle, the emphasis is on direct interaction and mutual exchange between the participants.

Participants may join openly, be invited or be matched according to the activity’s theme, purpose and participation criteria. The process will be explained on the activity page.

No. You decide what you are comfortable sharing and may set reasonable boundaries during the conversation.

Only when recording or public presentation is part of the announced activity and every affected participant has given the required permission.

Yes. Human Conversations may take place online, in person or in a hybrid format, depending on the particular activity.

Human Talks

One person shares lived experience and learning with a wider audience.

Anyone with a meaningful lived experience and useful learning to share may be considered. A person does not need to be famous or a professional speaker.

A Human Talk begins with lived experience and the learning that came from it. It is not primarily an academic lesson, promotional speech or expert presentation.

The duration depends on the activity and platform. The speaker will receive the approved time limit and presentation requirements in advance.

Where applicable, GHL may provide orientation, content guidance or a rehearsal so that the experience is shared clearly and responsibly without losing the speaker’s own voice.

Only according to the announced activity and the permission you provide. Any recording, editing and public use will be explained before the talk.
