Much of what we struggle to learn alone has already been lived by someone else

“The lessons life teaches should become part of how we continue learning throughout life.”

Zahrah Khawar — Founder & Lead Experience Architect

Throughout my journey in education—from teaching to leadership—I have seen that formal education becomes stronger when it also makes room for the lessons life teaches.

People should encounter the experiences of others before entering practical life and continue learning from them throughout it. Global Human Library grew from my belief that this learning should not be left to chance. It needs a thoughtful, ongoing system through which lived wisdom can be heard, preserved and carried forward.

Your Experience May Be What Someone Else Needs

What life has taught you could contribute meaningfully to someone else’s journey. Help lived wisdom travel further.
